Being able to delete folders from the pending section that have expired would make it easier to manage what is still active and needing attention

Erwin Filiciana MergedAre we able to delete any of the Sertifi files that we no longer need? For example, if we send an e-mail to an Agency for payment of R&T and then they decide to pay with a Wire Transfer, we should be able to delete the Sertifi file instead of keeping it as a pending file.

Anthony Michals AdminThe ability to delete a folder in a "Pending" status from the View Authorizations page was recently added as part of our production release on 7/16/24. When you expand a folder in a "Pending" status, there will be a "delete folder" button present on the right side of the view. Clicking the button will delete the folder and remove it from the view.
This update should help you manage your active tasks more effectively by removing expired items that no longer need attention.
We appreciate your input and hope this new feature improves your workflow. -

Rosa MendezNot all pending items are able to be deleted. I have multiple pending items which were partially completed and are now only causing clutter as I cannot delete them from the pending view.

Anthony Michals AdminHello Rosa,
Thank you for your feedback.
Folders in a "Pending" status can only be deleted if none of the actions in the folder have been completed, meaning the authorization form is still in a "Pending" status and the authorization task is still in an "Awaiting Payment" status. This helps prevent any potential loss of important information.
If the folder has been partially completed and you're still waiting on your guest to submit their credit card authorization, you can send a reminder email to the guest asking them to complete that step of the authorization process. Alternatively, if you no longer need the reservation, you can click on the "mark as processed" button to remove the folder from the "Pending" status view.
I hope this helps explain when folders can be deleted and when they can't.
Best regards,
